Ice-cream bread... as in bread made from ice-cream!

@Becky, what did the texture remind you of, so I can think of a comparison I may have tried? Heavy how? Like, thick viscosity hard to choke down type heavy or like you felt bricked in your stomach type heavy...

Both! In the UK we have a good word for it - stodgy.

Hmmm...this sounds VERY interesting. Any flavor ice cream? Idk, but I'm thinking pistachio. Yummmm...or maybe strawberry? Has anyone else tried it. @Becky maybe too much flour. (Honestly, idk what stodgy means but I googled it real quick and the too much flour is the only thing I could come up with. :( )

I have not heard of this ice cream bread. Maybe this is a sweet and moist kind of bread because of the ice cream as one of its ingredients. I avoid eating sweets already like ice cream but still I will give this a try for the kids.

I think it was also the fact that ice-cream is very heavy, and you tend to end up with a heavy, close-textured cake. I'm not sure if reducing the amount of flour would solve this issue! Let's face it, making 'bread' (cake would be a more accurate description) from ice-cream is never likely to result in a great loaf, but it's a nice little quick cheat ;)

I have heard of ice-cream cake but as for ice-cream bread this is a totally new idea. Anyway once ice- cream is incorporated in a recipe its a must that I'll give it a try.
