I drink filter coffee but I almost always add a bit of instant when I bake anything chocolate, along with a tiny pinch of cayenne powder. Not enough where you can identify it but you can definitely tell it isnt just chocolate.
I enjoy my coffee in many forms: espresso machine, percolator, french press, drip filter, etc and I find that each of them has its own glory.
Only the instant coffee I’d consider it the unwanted child of the coffee family ;-). But European instants are almost accepted, unlike what we have here in North America.
