Hi, newbie here, I picked up this baking dish at the OpShop out of curiosity, however - no one I asked so far could tell me what its purpose is, I am hoping that I'll find an answer here, thanks.

I think I’ve seen something similar when hunting for a waffle iron—might be a novelty mold for a sort of French toast stick/ waffle hybrid.
