From Easy Dessert:
Ingredients:
1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. cocoa
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. butter, softened (2 sticks)
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 c. old-fashioned oats
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. milk chocolate chips
Procedures:
Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl; set aside. In a larger mixing bowl, combine the butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat at medium speed until creamy, about 2 minutes.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in the flour mixture. Stir in the oats, and then the chocolate chips.
Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 9-11 minutes. They will still look a bit uncooked in the middle but do not overbaked to keep them soft and chewy). Let stand on the baking sheet for 2 minutes before removing from the pan.
