THANK YOU SO MUCHI maDE IT AT A RESTAURANT FOR A PARTY, AFTER THE PARTY ALL THE KITCHEN CREW JUMPED ON THE LEFTOVERS, THEY'RE ALL FROM SOUTH aMERICA SO THEY KNOW. They said this is it, I wouldn't know but they scarfed it up so ok.
I just used white cake, they said its made with anything, including chiffon, you decide how complicated you want to get.
Personally I would buy a duncan hines white cake and be done with it.
Bake the cake, remove from the mold to cool then put it back in the mold.
Blend one can of condensed milk, one can of evaporated milk and a can of regular milk, mix them and pour over the cake, it should saturate the cake.
start with half the liquid, if it soaks it all up add the rest, cover and leave to soak in the cooler for a few hours , I left it 3 hours but overnite is good too.
Invert the mold with your serving plate and decorate with whipped cream or dulce de leche, buy it and warm it if its stiff, that way you can pour it over ther cake, let it cool then cover with whipped cream and decorate with fruit or leave plain.
