This may look like a novelty because that's how I see it the first time I got to know about that toasted dumpling. Later I learned that toasted dumpling is a traditional bread in the southern part of the Luzon archipelago which is the Bicol region. The dough is made like dumpling and the fililng is the special pork that is sauteed in garlic, onion and soy sauce. What makes it special is that it is cheap at 9 pesos per piece, that's just 2 cents and 2 pieces could serve as a meal already. I'm sorry if I don't have a picture of toasted dumpling that is commonly called Toasted Siopao.
