Thrifty Baking Recipes For Families On A Budget?

Hi guys. Because I have a lot of debt to pay this month, I'm making a lot of foods from scratch that I would normally buy and searching for frugal recipes online. Like last night, I made a very basic white bread that costs 44 cents a loaf to make.

So do you guys have any super cheap thrifty recipes that you bake when your family is feeling the pinch financially?

I'm totally following this thread! I'm wanting to learn the frugal baking ways myself. Do you care to share your basic white bread recipe? Does it require a machine as I don't have one.

Here's the link to the blog with the cheap bread recipe. It's a simple, dense, soft bread for those days when you have no eggs or milk in the house.

Try searching on the channel of the frugal chef, she always has very cheap and easy recipes to share. I've tried several of her recipes and I must say she really knows what she is talking about.
