Suggestions for a birthday cake

I have a family member who will turn 90 next month and we're planning a big blow-out! Suggestions for an over the top cake? She likes just about anything but peanut butter. Loves york peppermint patties and daisies... I'd really like something creative that could act as a focal point for the party. Ideas?

Fun, I love occasion projects! And at that age she's definitely earned herself some fantastic cake...
