Rum Balls ? is this the right recipe ?

The recipe Im viewing is this one -

but I thought they were made from scrambled cake - I have ones at home that come from a Factory - and they are as soft as cake- the ones in this youtube video are most likely very firm - what do you think ?

Yeh, that would be dense and expensive.
Bakeries save all the broken cakes, mix with a paddle in the machine to break it down and throw in a handfull of rasp jam to glue it together. Rum extract , scoop and roll in choc jimmies.
