My first post on here so be kind - added to that I'm quite the amateur when it comes to baking so am learning step-by-step as I go. That said, I've decided to set up my own blog and wanted to gather inspiration so decided to join up here.

Firstly, a big welcome to the forums! We're glad to have you here!

I love pecan pie, it's one of those desserts that I associate with the holiday season, especially Thanksgiving. I adore the idea of pairing it with ginger ice cream (ginger is also something I associate with winter/holiday season). I think they'd go together really well.
