You make it look so easy! I tried royal icing once and it came out way too gluggy...I haven't been game to try it since!

Well I cannot say that I have ever seen the television show, but with that said I like the idea. I can imagine fans of the show would really have some fun in the kitchen making stuff like this. I might need to switch things up and try to adapt it for our home. Interesting stuff though, and thanks for sharing.

It takes a lot of practice to get the royal icing to the perfect consistency.

Oh yeah! I had to learn to perfect that stuff when I was a cake decorator.
If you do it right, the mixture should look like shiny white glass.

That's a good tip - I'll have to pluck up the courage to try it again someday - I do think they look so beautiful when they're done right!
