Yes, I've used silicone baking mats, and I definitely recommend them. I have two that I use. I used to go through a lot of parchment paper, but these days I don't use nearly as much. Since they're washable, the silicone mats save money, but I still keep a little parchment paper on hand for when I'm making something that's particularly messy, or when I just want to keep the counter clean. I would recommend buying at least 2 of the mats, since it's common to use at least two cookie sheets/baking sheets at a time. I even place one under my pies when I put them on a baking sheet, just in case of spillage.
