I've iced my Christmas cake! 
This is the recipe I used for the cake: Simmer & Stir Christmas Cake
Once it had been soaked for a few days I covered it with homemade marzipan, and here's the recipe: Zesty Marzipan
Finally, once the marzipan had dried out I covered it with royal icing, and decorated it with silver balls.
I wish my cakestand was bigger - I always have to keep my Christmas cake in this big plastic cake box and it isn't particularly attractive! Oh well.
Can't wait to try some this weekend
