Leakproof Silicone Cake Pop Molds: A Feasibility Study

Hi everybody!

I would like to make small jelly and/or ice spheres using silicone cake pop molds and a fine funnel.
I haven't yet bought a mold nor the funnel since I'm hoping there would be someone here who could help me figure out if my idea would be doable.

So, are silicone cake pop molds leakproof?

There are such molds made specifically for ice or liquids to freeze in, that will not leak. Cake pop pans/molds are made for cake, and not completely leak proof.

You can use the search term "make round ice cubes" and it should bring up many different types of molds for such use.

What a cool idea!
I have made decorative sugar "cubes" using the hard plastic molds but IMO they would crack if frozen.
