I just want to make my brownies!

Someone gave me a 5 pound bag of Sysco brownie mix and i want to make them just not all at once! The instructions say to add 2 1/2 cups of water to entire 5 pound bag of dry mix, now if I only want to make one regular sized batch (equal to 1 reg box of mix) what measurements would I use?? And can I use milk instead of water? It just seems like they won’t be very flavorful! Anyone know??!

Brownies never have milk in them.

1 cup = 8 oz

8 x 2.5 cups water = 20 oz

20 oz / 5 lbs = 4 oz


1 lb mix to 4 oz water
