Hello everyone. I'm new my names Nikki and my 6 year old daughter wants me to bake her a disney frozen cake for her birthday. Easy I hear you say but I'm a little stuck and hope you guys could help.
Iv bought a 20cm, 5 inch deep cake tin as I want to cut it in three and fill the cake. I'm struggling to find a basic sponge recipe that would give the right amount for a tin this size. Could you please help me out? Also what temp and how long for.
Also... The cake has to be totally cool before I turn it out and cut it would I be better baking the cake Thursday night leaving it to cool over night in the tin and decorating it on Friday for party on Saturday or would it be stale?
