Hello Everybody!

Hi out there, my name is Amber and I am new here on the Baking Forums! I love to bake, although I'm not the best at it. I grew up baking with my mom and grandma and I have finally realize that I will never be able to make sugar cookies that taste like my mothers or peanut butter cookies that taste like my grandmothers. I do like to make muffins and treats for my dog and cats, I know they aren't people but I have no kids and my niece and nephew are only over every once in a while so I like to think that baking for the animals is good practice for me. I hope that I can get some pointers from all of the bakers on this forum so that I can get better with my own baking.

Don't worry, maybe you need to keep on practicing, and one day your cookies will taste the way you want them to! I for example wish my biscuits were as good as my sister's

I don't think anyone will ever be able to make cookies as good as their mom's or their grandma's; there's just no competition! And I want to learn how to bake things for dogs and cats too, so maybe we'll see more of those topics pop up

We here at the Baking Forums are a good group of people, everyone is extremely nice and friendly, not to mention helpful. I was not always a good baker, I used to burn water. lol. But over time and many failed attempts am slowly getting better. ( grandma's recipes are godsend! )
