This year for my sisters birthday I made her a Harry Potter Sorting Hat cake. As well as some Harry Potter Inspired cupcakes. She absolutely loved them!
The Sorting Hat was one of the first carved cakes I’ve done. I love how it turned out.
When my sister saw it her reaction was awesome. She was shocked and gave me a huge hug.
Below is the inside of the cake. The colors represent the different houses in Hogwarts. For the top I used rice crispy treats.
What you can’t see in the picture is that I used edible silver glitter on these to make them sparkle. My sister loves unicorns so below you can see the unicorn sprinkles. She really loved them.
These are my Golden Snitch inspiredcupcakes. I had originally planned to create the golden snitch on top of the cupcake but I messed up on the wings so I decided to do this.
