I made this recipe for Epiphany this year. It was my first time using phyllo dough, and, I was pretty pleased with how it turned out. I will probably make it again next year, but I might also make a variation over the holidays, since it was so delicious. The texture reminded me somewhat of the Ricotta Pies that my Mom used to make.

I had never heard of this type of baked good before, but it really is a beautiful one! As they often say, we eat with our eyes - and if I saw this at a party or something on a table of other desserts I think I would make a beeline for this!
