Fresh red currants?

I just picked up some gorgeous red currants from the market, but aside from using them in salads I have no real clue what to do with them. A google search suggests they'd be good in muffins... does anyone have a good recipe for that or an alternate suggestion?

You could use them in anything! Muffins, cookies, pie...You could also use them for decorating, for example on cupcakes. I dopn't have a recipe for redcurrant muffins but I'm sure a quick Google would provide you with lots of options.

Hah, the problem is it has provided me with too many options!

I'm hoping for a tried and true recipe, I've had mixed luck with random website baking recipes (baking is so much likelier to go wrong that your basic stovetop cooking, in my experience).

I probably don't have enough for pie, though... unless I guess you can make individual sized pies... hmmm.
