I went to the French Quarter in New Orleans, Louisiana in the early 1990's. One of the big hotels there had a small bakery building outside in the front. Their head chef for the hotel baked fancy breads and sold them out of this little bread shop.
It was awesome. He could make bread into any shape or object. One woman in there was buying up EVERYTHING! She was a old lady from New York and was going nuts over everything he had in there. She couldn't stop buying what he had.
You can do anything with bread. You can mold it, shape it, cut it, lay it out, create designs with it...........for gifts, decoration, or just to WOW people.
Bread art is fun, easy, and has no limits to what can be done with it.
