Empanadas

Another favorite of mine is the empanada, which is basically bread with a light, savory crust and an equally savory filling. You can basically go crazy with whatever filling you want but I've tasted creamy chicken pastel as the filling and that satisfied me for lunch. Chicken A La King is also a good filling for empanada. Some even thought of spicy beef or pork.

My favorites are sweet potato and pumpkin. Cream cheese and pineapple is also good.

My empanadas must have a very savory filling, I like strong flavors covered in a really light crust I like the sweet ones as well, my favorite filling is apples, with cinnamon and some brown sugar
