Easy Vegan Chocolate Chip Brownies Recipe

Yields: 20 Brownies


Ingredients

- 1 cup vegan chocolate chips

- 1/2 cup soy milk

- 1 cup maple syrup

- 1 cup vegetable oil

- 1 tablespoon vanilla

- 1 cup cocoa

- 2 cups flour

- 1 1/2 cups sugar

- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- 2 tablespoons baking powder

- Optional: nuts


Instructions

- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Grease your baking pan.

- Whisk the maple syrup, vanilla, oil and soy milk together.

- In a bowl, mix the cocoa, flour, sugar, salt and baking powder.

- Mix all dry ingredients and wet ingredients just enough to combine them thoroughly. Fold in the chocolate chips and nuts, if you're using.

- Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes. Cool, and cut into squares. Serve.
