Decorating Cupcakes with Edible Glitter?

I'm baking some cupcakes in a few weeks and I want to ice them with roses on the top. Thing is, I want the roses to be white with silver edges to the petals. I've been looking into it and I don't know which way would be the best to achieve a nice sparkly silver. Should I spray it on? Use glitter and a paintbrush? I've never used anything like glitter or glitter sprays before, so I don't really know what would give me the right effect.

Welcome to the forum! :)

I think your best bet would be edible glitter and a paintbrush. It is very fine, so you'll want a soft brush (like a make-up brush) and maybe do a couple of test roses first.

Sounds like they will be lovely, I'd love to see a photo when you're done!
