Cookies with coconut oil

This happens every time I try to make cookies with coconut oil. I followed the directions and nobody else comments about their cookies turning out like this. Any idea what's going on?

Not knowing the recipe it's in possible to make an assessment. Could you link the recipe you used?

Turning out like WHAT? All I see is one giant cookie.

And yes, can't really say anything about the recipe unless you post it.

Based on what I know about coconut oil, it contains a LOT of sugars and can cause some recipes to react in strange ways, which is why I never use it.
