This year I decided to go simple with my chocolate cupcakes.
Instead of intricate designs and lots of color I used regular vanilla buttercream and different kinds of sprinkles. I think they turned out cute.

I have been busy although it wasn’t anywhere near as hectic as last year.
And thank you. I had a little bite of a few of the things I made and they were really tasty. The things I couldn’t have, like anything with the white chocolate, I had great comments from my family who loved them.

What nozzle did you use for the piping? I'm relatively new to piping decoration and would love to get cupcakes with such a beautiful swirl

I use the 1M large open star nozzle. I use this particular one often and it’s one of my favorites.

I misspoke. It is not the open star nozzle, it’s the large star nozzle. The open star is the one I’ve had issues with. The large star tip is my go to for many cakes and cupcakes.
