Good day Friendly Bakers,

I normally make a Xmas cake called 'Last Minute Xmas Cake' but never do it at the last minute except this year. Have not left myself much time to feed the cake!
Question: Can one or does one feed the cake when its just been baked and out of the oven. Want to get at least 1 - 2 feeds in before Xmas!

TIA

I tend to give my Christmas cake a feed when it's still warm - I find it drinks it in easier then! Boiled fruitcakes are a good way to speed up the process - the cake itself isn't boiled, just the fruit. It helps plump it up and give it more flavour.
