I've tried making cupcakes from scratch several times now and strangely they end up tasting like cornbread! What's up with that? Am I doing something really weird? I try to not over mix. Maybe it's because I'm not using cake flour?
Hi MJ. Cake flour shouldn't make a difference, it's just ground finer than all-purpose flour. Could you tell me what other ingredients you've been using and anything else significant. This could help us narrow down the problem and figure out how to advise you. Thanks
