Easy Buttermilk Bundt Cake
Ingredients
- 2 sticks salted butter (softened)
- 1 cup sugar
- 21/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 F and grease a bundt pan (set it aside).
Cream the butter together with the sugar until pale and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well between each addition. Stir in the vanilla.
Sift together the flour and baking soda. Add to the butter mixture alternatively with the buttermilk. Mix until everything is incorporated.
Pour the mixture into the greased bundt pan and bake for 50 minutes to 1 hour, or until a skewer inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
Cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before turning out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
