Never in my life did I think baking would become a career path for me. I love it so much, I decided to pursue it. On monday I went in for an interview at a large-ish bakery that sells fancy cakes, pastry and cookies. Thinking I was simply interviewing for a counter position, the manager recognized my passion and self-taught, self-proclaimed baking skills and asked for me to come in for a trial shift on monday. I'm so nervous! has anyone worked as a baker in a bakery before? Or maybe has been in my position? I'm just looking for some advice! I'm prepared for the hard work that goes into working at a bakery, I just don't quite know what to expect. Thanks so much!!!
