Hi all,

Im looking for quick & simple but impressive recipes I could make for an afternoon tea? I have been asked to supply my local venue with cake for 100 people on 21st December (not short notice at all!) -its an opportunity I cant pass up but are there any tried and tested impressive recipes anyone used?
(I thought our american friends might have recipes ive not used before?!)
Any help is welcome here as Im looking for about 4 bakes in total. Thanks in advance! :) Megan! Xx

American cake recipes are not going to translate very well since most all purpose flour and cake flour in the US is bleached. The UK, Australia, and most European countries banned bleached flour.

Unbleached flour create a denser, heavier, low rise cake. You will produce better cake by using recipes based on flour brands from your home country.
