Yes, it is sad. I don't own a television; haven't watched television in years. So I've never seen Bourdain's show. I have one of his books. He certainly left an indelible impression on many. This week has been a sad one. Kate Spade, a beloved designer, also took her life this week.

I didn't watch the show that much but it saddens me deeply that this man felt so rotten that he decided to take his own life. He seemed to have it all, fame, money, but apparently something was missing or something was intense, painful, and unsolvable, at least to him. Somehow he had found himself in the same ugly place that Robin Williams encountered and couldn't deal with. What an absolute shame. My heart goes out to his family. RIP.

I watched Anthony all the time. He was a unique person with an interesting show. He will be missed for sure
